Christmas as we know it may seem unobtainable this year, however we can still organise festive fun to be enjoyed by all the family.
Many of our local village Christmas events have been virtualised for this year yet we are still looking forward to joining in and making them seem as special as always for our children. After all many of our children won’t be familiar with standard Christmas practice so the new norm of activities can be just as exciting.
Christmas traditions remain and lots of them are centred around staying at home with our loved ones and enjoying our home comforts which is just what we think this Christmas should be about. Taking things back to basics and just getting some much need R&R, if that’s possible with kids?!
Yes this Christmas may feel very different but the whole essence of the festive period remains and I know in our household we are extremely happy to have something wonderful to look forward to.
And after Christmas comes the new year and the optimism that 2021 will bring, with prospects that we may see some normality return to our everyday life’s.
